There are a few different types of tangents.
One has something to do with maths. I don't know all
that much about what that tangent is, but I do know that there is a 'tan', (shortened form of 'tangent') button on my calculator.
I would assume that there are simlar buttons on other people's calculators. Especially those that are made in the
same place as mine, because generally calculator manufacturing places make the same buttons on all of the calculators
they manufacture. Designing those buttons would be a shit job. The pay isn't too great, and I don't suppose you'd
get too many fantastic worker's benefits. Making the buttons would, however, be significantly shitter. But I stray...
Said buttons are used in maths when calculating the tangents
of things... yeah, I can't really go on from there, I don't know a great deal about maths... regardless, those aren't
the type of tangents I regularly make use of.
My tangents are found when I start to write something,
then go off on a... well, the most appropriate word would have to be 'tangent'. These aren't all completely tangential
in the true sense of the word, as they aren't all ACTUAL tangents. Then again, I did just invent the word 'tangential'
and can therefore use it as I please.
